Know your Basics 

This is obvious, but please know the basics when you cultivate these plants. Know the conditions for light, the water, air, the nutrients, and the medium to grow.  If you don’t consider these, you’re not going to grow anything worthwhile with this. You should know how to do this on a basic level.

Choosing the seeds is important, because you want to make sure that you choose something that also is easy to get based on what dispensaries have to offer. You can also do research on various strains, picking something based on that.  You should go through different sellers.

Another thing is the environment and climate. Some are better in hotter areas, some are better in indoor, controlled climates. Make sure that you choose one based on where it’s going to grow. 

You also want something that’s easy to grow. Not every strain has easy growing habits. 

Consider the other things too 

You also want to make sure that you also consider other things that you need to grow cannabis. First, is air. Good air is important, since the better the ventilation, the better the growth.  You’ll usually get this naturally if you grow this outside, but if you’re growing this in your home or greenhouse, you’ll need to go the extra step. 

Then there is water. All plants need water, but if you overwater them, it’s too much. Make sure that they are getting the right water, and something that’s right in the middle in terms of pH for best results. 

Light is another part of this.  It’s necessary that you get the correct light during the correct times. 

Cannabis needs the light to process this. Without the right amounts, the harvest is poor. Most of the time, you need to expose them to at least 18 hours of light every single day, and then, turn it off.
